MeTime Is . . .
Anytime hourly childcare and so much more! You can get your “MeTime” while your child gets theirs! We went through a more refined process to be able to acquire licensing for all ages as young as 6 weeks up through 12 years old because we understand that siblings come in different age ranges! If your child is 12 months or older no reservations are needed (unless your child is needing more individualized attention). Drop in anytime, 7 days a week, days, evenings, or evening weekends. Anytime you need us we are here for you!
The staff here at MeTime strongly believes the best type of way to learn is through play and we offer many fun, creative ideas through both directed and free play. This approach allows each child to select activities at their own pace while having an opportunity to organically explore their environment through carefully selected materials and toys and giving them the option to learn and play with friends who may be different ages.
Activities
All of the ages we care for have fun when they come through our doors! Some of our active play includes a bouncy house, balloon volleyball, bubble parties, ribbon dancing, Chutes and ladders with our parachute play and much much more! These games and activities encourage physical activity for your child while under the watchful eye of our staff.
Art activities and science projects are done all day every day and there is never an activity fee for art projects brought home! Check out some of these cute creations.
Sick Policy
MeTime does our best to ensure that each child in our care is healthy. We take temperature checks and have each child clean their hands at the door before entering the play areas. Per State Protocol we cannot admit children that vomit, have a fever, rash, diarrhea, persistent cough, pink eye etc.
Parents will be notified if a child becomes ill while at MeTime. We have a quarantine space that is safe and secure. The child is kept as comfortable as possible, under the watchful eye of a caregiver until the legal guardian is able to pick up. Late fees may be assessed for children not picked up within an hour of the call being made to the parent.
MeTime is a drop-in childcare center and is not required by the State of Tennessee to see medical records for T.B., immunization records, and medical assessments. Parents/Legal Guardians are responsible for informing our staff of any special needs their child may have on our registration form.
Fires & Natural Disasters
MeTime has a plan in place for Fires, Natural Disasters and Chemical Spills per State regulations and these plans can be accessed freely at our facility upon request.
Child Abuse
MeTime Staff are required by the State to report any suspected form of child abuse to CPS.
Smoking Policy
MeTime does not allow smoking within 50 feet of our entrance per State regulations.
MeTime Disciplinary Policy
MeTime Staff will never use physical punishment under any circumstances, to handle disciplinary issues that may arise. Redirection is the main platform we use to discourage disruptions. We also have a “quiet bin” to calm children who may be a little over stimulated.
If our staff is not able to encourage a child to correct the disruptive behavior, parents will be contacted to come and pick up immediately. If a certain behavior that has been addressed continues to become an issue at each visit, MeTime reserves the right to shorten the child’s visits or no longer permit a child to enter our facility. Please know that communication is key and we work hard to make sure we are constantly working with the parent/legal guardian and the child involved to work through any issues that we are able to assist with whenever possible.

Technology
MeTime does allow devices from home as long as they adhere to the following:
No phone calls/facetime or use of any social media app while they are in our care. If your child needs to contact you they can use our business phone upon request.
Screen time will be limited. While we understand that our facility is a place where children are allowed to have fun on their devices we still believe in having the children in our care engaged with the different activities we offer.
